INSPIRITUS Community Health Foundation is proud to present our newest team member, Melanie Segura as our Executive Administrative Assistant – Operations Specialist.
Melanie is originally from Weslaco, TX, but moved to Minot in the summer of 2016 due to work opportunities available to her father. She graduated from Minot High School in the Spring of 2019, then started pursuing her career as an entrepreneur at Minot State University the following fall semester. During her second year at MSU, she took some courses with professors who would soon convince her to change her major to Accounting.As of now, she is expected to graduate next spring of 2024 with enough credit hours to apply for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Exam.
Melanie’s work experience includes retailing, customer service, and serving as a church aide. She has also interned for the VITA Tax Assistance program, Centerspace Properties, and attended multiple seminars for the Looyenga Leadership Center. Furthermore, she currently serves as Vice President for the MSU’s Future Business Leaders of America Club. Throughout, she has learned the importance of honesty, integrity, respect, and hard work.
