March 2011 – Stanley N. D. – The Mountrail County Aquatic Foundation is proud to announce that they are one of the recipients of St. Joseph’s Community Health Foundation’s 2011 grant funding program. They received a matching grant of $5,000 at the annual Grant Award Luncheon in Minot this past week.

Jan Aardahl, secretary of the aquatic foundation and manager of the Ina Mae Rude Aquatic Center, states, “we are extremely pleased to be approved for funding from this committed organization to help pay for the exercise equipment in the Ina Mae Rude Aquatic Center’s new fitness center addition. The St. Joseph’s Community Health Foundation understands the importance of meeting the needs of communities.”

Their mission is to promote and support projects and services that contribute to the health and vitality of residents in northwest north central North Dakota. Over $400,000 in grants were awarded to area organizations.
