March 2025 – Minot, N.D. – LivingWorks safeTALK suicide prevention training will take place March 21 from 1 to 4 pm at the Minot Public Library, 516 2nd Ave. SW. The event hosted by FirstLink and funded by a grant through INSPIRITUS Community Health Foundation, is open to the public and free of charge.
The training focuses on how to recognize a person with thoughts of suicide and connect them with additional resources. Workshop participants will learn about suicide aletness, how to respond in situations where suicide thoughts occur, and recognize invitations for help.

The 3.5 hour training is available at no cost to anyone aged 15 or older and is approved for CEU hours for NDBSW, NDEMS, and NDPOST.
