November 2023 – Minot, N.D. – Grants totaling $118,200 were given to support a wide variety of area projects at INSPIRITUS Community Health Foundation’s annual luncheon, held November 15.
ICHF will also match eligible contributions up to a total amount of $393,000 to 75 agencies and food pantries through the Twiced Blessed Program. Donors can contribute to the agencies of their choice through Dec. 31. Last year $1.2 million was distributed through the Twice Blessed program.
Grants provided to organizations Nov. 15 are for projects that impact the mental, physical, spiritual and/or emotional well-being of people in the counties of Bottineau, Burke, McHenry, McLean, Mountrail, Pierce, Renville, Rolette, Sheridan, Ward and Wells. Grants will impact a Nature and Healing program for at risk children, community resource centers and food pantries, handicap accessibility projects, pregnancy and parenting support, meals and transportation for seniors, juvenile drug court incentive program, nutrition services for seniors, inclusive playground for children, automatic external defibrillators, dental care for children, low income housing, protective gear for firefighters, hospital chapel and more.

INSPIRITUS Community Health Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) public charity community foundation formed in June of 1998. The Foundation was formerly known as St. Joseph’s Community Health Foundation with a name change in June 2023. The Foundation has awarded over $12.7 million in grants to organizations for many worthwhile projects to assist with programs that address quality of life issues in their communities.
