The funding from St. Joseph’s Community Health Foundation will be used to support the general operations costs for DVCC’s emergency shelter and transitional living program; salaries and fringe benefits for full-time and part-time shelter staff, phone costs, printing and copying expense, direct client services, shelter supplies and utility costs. Funding for the emergency shelter and transitional living program are vital in providing a safe space for victims seeking refuge from the horrific violence and abuse they’ve been enduring.
