Local Motives is dedicated to enhancing the Minot area through dynamic community building and place making initiatives. Our activities include community events, public art, green space development, and collaborative workshops. Funds will be used to duplicate the main front-of-house speakers to extend consistent sound coverage to the farther end of the Alley, add an additional subwoofer to improve low-frequency clarity throughout the space, an upgrade the mixing board to ensure every performer from solo acoustic acts to full bands can be properly amplified and mixed.
