The Scandinavian Heritage Association in Minot is much more than a tourist attraction. It is a nonprofit cultural organization dedicated to preserving, celebrating, and teaching the traditions of the five Nordic countries: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland. The Association created and maintains the Scandinavian Heritage Park, one of Minot’s best-known landmarks and cultural gathering places. Funds raised will be utilized to replace the Dala Horse located in the Scandinavian Park.
