Youthworks is seeking general operation funding to support its Short Term Care and Assessment Center (STCAC) Project . The STCAC provides emergency shelter to youth involved with law enforcement (Attendant Care), County Human Service Zones or North Central Human Service Center (Certified Shelter Care). Our Center is available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week to respond to the needs of youth in crisis, and facilitate placements into the Center. Funds raised will be utilized to offer a safe and secure setting for youth during their stay; to provide assessment/intervention and/or referrals that help the youth and family address the issues leading to placement; and to ensure safe and appropriate exits for all youth in the Center.
